Practical simple heat capacity measurement method

If the change in ambient temperature is slow, the thermostat can adequately keep up with the temperature changes.

As a practical method for measuring heat capacity, the thermal time constant is an accurate way to grasp the heat capacity of an object, but it is somewhat too academic for everyday practical use. Therefore, as a practical guideline, I have summarized in a table how well the thermostat's temperature can adapt to changes in ambient temperature compared to the thermostat's simple heat capacity. If the rate of change in ambient temperature is fast, the thermostat's thermal adaptation will be delayed; however, if the rate of change is slow, it can be seen that the thermostat can adequately keep up with the temperature changes.
